Church Action on Poverty Sunday resources

Church Action on Poverty Sunday 2026 was held on October 18th.

The resources remain available below, so if that date didn’t work for you, you can still take part on a day that suits your church.

General resources

  • Full resource pack – full of ideas, inspiring stories, worship materials and more
  • Event poster – Print in A3 or A4 and display in the run-up to your event (and on the day) 

Lunch resources

Keep the conversation flowing and learn more about why Church Action on Poverty exists. We’ve got placemats that your congregation can add your prayers or messages to; conversation cards on the theme of food, faith & fellowship; and flyers to make it easier for guests to donate. 

  • Flyers for the table – Please place one or two on every table.
  • Conversation cards – Print a few copies, cut the cards out, and distribute them around the tables
  • Placemats – Print as many as you need, and ask your guests to write their own prayer or message, and send us a picture.

Art resources

We have three stunning ‘tablescape’ paintings, reflecting the theme of food, faith and fellowship. They have been created by Susan Bence, a Church Action on Poverty supporter and talented artist. Each is accompanied by a suggested scripture reading, and conversation prompts.

  • Art pack – Print the pages to display on your wall. A3 is best, but A4 will work if you don’t have an A3 printer.
