Become a CAP Campaigner
Mobilising people to overcome poverty: can you take an active part in CAP's work?
What CAP Campaigners are
At the core of Church Action on Poverty’s work are its campaigns directed at Parliament to bring about legislation that will directly affect the causes of UK poverty. The CAP Campaigners network is for people who identify with the aims of CAP and wish to make a noise on behalf of those in our nation experiencing poverty. If you want to get involved in our campaigns to make a difference, we want to work with you more closely.
What CAP Campaigners do
You need to provide us with a contact email address or postal address if preferred, and a commitment to act on at least a half of the action requests we send out.
What CAP will provide for you
- Six simple campaign actions
each year. These will be simple and quick, but with identified options
for doing more, if you have the time.
- Clear and concise briefings so you know what you are doing.
- Occasional briefing sessions.
- Feedback on the impact of our campaigning together.
