Tories unveil anti-poverty plans
The Conservative party have launched a document outlining their policy for combating UK poverty: "Making British Poverty History".
Speaking at the launch, Conservative leader David Cameron highlighted a range of issues including the doorstep lending sector, also a major concern for CAP.
You can download the document here. Whether we agree with the Conservatives' emphasis and policies or not, it's good to see so much attention being paid to UK poverty by politicians. The Get Fair campaign will take advantage of this to press for real and lasting change.
