The real experiences of people in poverty in the UK rarely appear in the media. All too often, people on low incomes are labelled, stigmatised and misrepresented by the media coverage that does appear.
Church Action on Poverty aims to challenge that stigma by supporting people in poverty to tell their own stories; and by working in partnership with journalists to produce more accurate and positive media coverage of the lives of people in poverty.
