Job vacancy: Poverty Project worker - Closing the Price Gap
Can you bring together a range of people and organisations to identify creative and innovative ways of enabling people on low income in Glasgow to access affordable food, fuel and finance?
£22,000 pa pro rata 21 hours per week. 12 months.
You will have knowledge and understanding of how poverty affects people’s lives and livelihoods, experience of working with people living with poverty, an ability to work collaboratively and motivate and encourage others, good analytic and problem-solving skills. and strong self-motivation and an ability to work on your own timetable.
The Close the Price Gap project is a partnership between Church Action on Poverty, the Iona Community, Christian Aid Scotland, the Poverty Truth Commission, and others. It is part of our wider Food, Fuel, Finance programme.
