We are seeking a Research and Information Officer to work with Changemakers, our emerging network of citizens' organisations in Manchester, Bradford and Stockton-on-Tees.

Changemakers organisations are coalitions of faith, community, resident and other front line organisations who work with excluded communities. Their aim is to develop the capacity of local people in the areas of voice, advocacy, and engagement with service providers and power holders. We are now recruiting for a:

Research & Information Officer

£24,331- £28,270 pro rata 28 hours per week, Manchester-based

You will provide a professional research facility for the network of Changemakers organisations and also for our Community Pride Initiative. The key tasks will be to enable local people in frontline organisations to gain a thorough understanding of the issues they identify for action, to help identify effective and workable solutions, and to facilitate their engagement in policy debates.
