Free healthcare for refused asylum-seekers in Wales
The Welsh Assembly has announced that refused asylum-seekers will be given access to NHS healthcare.
This brings Wales into line with the policy in Scotland. In England, refused asylum-seekers continue to have access to NHS healthcare, but the government is challenging the ruling over a test case of a Palestinian refused asylum-seeker that granted him access to care.
CAP's Living Ghosts campaign calls for an end to the Government policies that make refused asylum-seekers destitute.
