A panel from key local organisations will make brief inputs on:
- the carbon factor
- consumerism
- corporate power/partnership
- political will/participatory democracy
This will be followed by a debate on the way forward.

Refreshments will be offered before and after the debate.
All are welcome to come and explore the extensive and beautiful gardens in the early afternoon or evening.
Directions
Shepherd’s Dene is on the west side of Riding Mill village, signposted 3/4mile up the hill, access on left.
No 10 buses from Hexham or Eldon Square bus station pass through the village, and the Newcastle/Hexham/Carlisle trains stop at Riding Mill.
