to share experience in leadership development in regards to:
- Social justice How might the policies of the Coalition Government and the Big Society agenda make a difference to the churches work on housing, poverty, asylum, racial discrimination and other justice issues, and are we ready to respond to them ?
- Community engagement What qualities are needed to lead the churches work in this area and what challenges will the community organising role being developed by the Coalition Government bring ?
- Christian leadership in the public space Many people in leadership in the public, business and education sectors are Christians what challenges are they facing at the moment to be faithful to the gospel in their work, and how are we supporting them ?
- Sustaining Christian presence for the long term Beginning a fresh expression, or a church without walls type of church plant may require different discipling skills from presence for the long haul. What can the experimental forms of church learn from the experience of discipling and faith development in more traditional urban churches, and what resources do we need?
