Speakers Phil Teece (Participatory Budgeting Unit) and a LibDem councillor from Newcastle will explore how participatory budgeting (PB) can transform communities. In a time of recession, PB is an excellent way of making tough decisions about budgets and spending.

Speakers: Mark Waters (Participatory Budgeting Unit); Jonty Oliffe-Cooper (Demos); Councillor Simon Woodbridge (Broadlands District Council).
