Key speaker: Dr Clive Barrett

A former Chair of the Anglican Pacifist Fellowship, Clive spent many years promoting peace through anti-war campaigning and writing. He continues to be immersed in popular peace education through being Chair of the Bradford-based Peace Museum. Drawing on experience in urban outer-estate ministry, he currently works for West Yorkshire Ecumenical Council, promoting unity and peace between churches. In practice, this means getting different denominations to work together and speak with one voice on issues of social justice asylum, debt, inequality. He argues that peace is The Way to justice

There will be opportunity to hear about justice and peace activities from groups around the country. Representatives of Catholic/Christian agencies will report on their work and suggest practical ways of becoming involved in campaigning for social justice.

Tea and coffee will be provided, bring your own lunch.
