The event will bring together church organisations that are already involved in community development, leaders in churches who are significant decision-makers, and people who want to encourage the churches to get involved in social action and community development.

There will be a keynote speaker and presentations and workshops by people from local projects run by church organisations.

Please let us know if you plan to come on 2 December and we will send further information nearer the time.

Also, we would be grateful if you could consider whether there are any people from your church who would be interested and encourage them to attend.

Church Action on Poverty is supporting this event as part of our series of roundtable events, exploring how faith communities can respond to the recession and economic crisis. Download a list of all the events and a booking form here.
