The organisers say:
"We have organised a number of visits around Merthyr Tydfil on day one which will show some first rate work taking place in local community projects. This will provide an opportunity for face to face discussions with community members and workers.
"A social follows, organised by Mandy, our Social Secretary. Questions about chicken bingo should be directed to her please...
"The conference on day two will have some short films available for people to see at lunchtime, and info stalls.
"There will be a range of speakers from near and far, on a range of topics which we guarantee will inform, educate, entertain, uplift and move you. At a recent event the presentation on illegal money lending, brought comments like 'fantastic, frightening, and gob smacking' from residents attending."
