Alcohol – It’s No Laughing Matter

The conference will be chaired by Christa Ackroyd (Look North). The Rt Hon. Nick Clegg MP, Leader of the Liberal Democrat Party, will set out the national context and the morning will also include speeches from key individuals who work to reduce alcohol-related harm in Sheffield.

A number of workshops will run during the second half of the conference covering the following areas:

  • The impact of alcohol on specific groups in the community
  • The Strategic Framework
  • Education & Communication (Adults)
  • Alcohol Treatment Services
  • Young People
  • Alcohol Related Crime and Antisocial Behaviour
  • Working with the Alcohol Industry

Please note that we expect to be oversubscribed for this conference therefore places will be confirmed at a later date and a formal invitation issued.
